Make your products eligible for Deals

A Lightning Deal is a time-bound, promotional offer where an item is featured for a limited number of hours, usually 4 to 12 hours (as determined by Amazon), on theAmazon Dealspage. Featuring an item as a Lightning Deal may help increase sales and reduce your inventory. Learn how to use Lightning Deals to help improve yourbrand awareness and sales.

A 7-Day Deal is a time-bound, promotional offer where an item is featured for a limited number of days on theAmazon Dealspage.

To be eligible for deals, you must be a Professional Seller with at least five Seller Feedback Ratings per month and an overall rating of at least 3.5-stars. Additionally, products must meet these criteria:

Have a sales history in Amazon stores and at least a 3-star rating

Include as many variations as possible

Not a restricted product or offensive, embarrassing or inappropriate product

Prime eligible in all regions

New Condition

Compliant with customer product reviews policies. To know more, refer toCustomer product reviews policies.

Compliant with pricing policies. For more information, seeAmazon Policy on Reference Prices.

Compliant with deal frequency policies. To know more, refer toCreate a Deal.

Note:If your product is approved for a deal and then it violates the above criteria, your deal will be canceled immediately and you might not be eligible for a refund of your deals fees.

You can create two Deal variations - Lightning Deal and 7-day Deal.

If you meet the criteria for a Deal:

In theDeals Dashboard, clickCreate a New Dealtab.

Select a product in your inventory and clickSelect.

Enter theSchedule, and clickContinue to next step.

For Lightning Deals, enterDeal priceorDiscount per unit, andMinimum deal quantity.

For 7-day Deals, enterDeal priceorDiscount per unitfor each product.

Note:You will also need to choose the main product whose image will be featured on the Deals page. This image must be complaint with our Deal image policy or all Deal eligibility will be removed.

How can I become eligible?

Currently, only Professional Sellers are eligible to run Deals. Here's how you canupgrade.

Which products are eligible for Deals?

Eligible products are automatically displayed in theEligible ASINssection of theDeals Dashboardwhen they meet the following criteria (subject to change based on country and time of year):

Quality: Products must have a sales history in Amazon stores and at least a 3-star rating.

Product variations: Deals should include as many product variations (for example, size, color, style and so on.) as possible. For some products, such as clothing and shoes, at least65% of variations should be included in the deal. The pre-determined minimum percentage of product variations are specified when you create the Deal.

Category:Restricted productsand products that are offensive, embarrassing or otherwise inappropriate are not eligible. Examples of ineligible items include e-cigarettes, alcohol, adult products, medical devices, medicines and baby formula.

Fulfillment method: Products must be Prime-eligible in all states including Puerto Rico. You can choose either Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) or Seller Fulfilled Prime inShipping Settings.

Condition: Only items in New Condition are eligible for Deals.

SellerFeedback Rating: You must receive a minimum of 5 ratings per month and have at least an overall 3.5-star rating.

Return Rate: Products with high return rates will be ineligible for Deals.

Note:Because of other criteria that Amazon is unable to disclose, it's possible that certain ASINs may not receive a recommendation although they meet the criteria listed above.

You can choose toCreate a Dealfrom the list of eligible ASINs in theSelect Productstab of theDeals Dashboard. Eligible ASINs are refreshed every week, so a Deal you see this week may not necessarily be there next week.

Create and schedule Store versions

You can create multiple versions of your Store and schedule them to run during specific periods of time.

Versioning and scheduling Stores is available when you have an approved Store. If you're creating a Store for the first time, see how tocreate your Store.

To create a new version of an existing Store and schedule it:

Click theVersiondrop-down menu at the top of the page.

ClickCreate new version.

Enter a name for the new version.

Select an existing version to use as a starting point for the new version.

Note:The existing version won’t be affected.

ClickCreate version.

Wait until the new version is created.

When you’re done editing, clickSubmit for publishingon the top-right corner.

Note:The new version will be reviewed. This process can take up to 24 hours. Learn aboutStores moderation

Select the start and end date for your new version.

ClickSubmit.

Note:

You’ll always have one live version of your Store that has no end date.

When you create a new version with an end date, it will override the version with no end date for the duration of the new version. You can’t have two or more versions with end dates that overlap.

If you wish to create a new version with no end date, it will override your existing version with no end date based on the start date you select.

To see the schedule of your live, approved, and scheduled Stores, clickShow dates of current versions.

To view the status, cancel the scheduling, or delete a version:

Click theVersiondrop-down menu at the top of the page.

Click the gear icon on the version you want to modify.

Apply and confirm your changes.

To modify a scheduled or live version:

Select the version you want to modify.

Click on any element that you want to modify.

On the pop-up window, select whether you’d like to copy your version to create a new version, or cancel the scheduling and edit the existing version. For versions with no end date, you can only copy to a new version.

Note:

Modifying or rescheduling an approved version will require you to create a new version and submit again for approval. You can use the copy version feature to start the process. Learn aboutStores moderation

You can cancel scheduling of an approved version by clicking on the gear icon and following prompts.
