Program details

Limited to new-to-FBA parent ASINs:Sellers enrolled in the program can take advantage of the fee waivers on up to 500 new-to-FBAparent ASINsthat they create. The 500-parent-ASIN limit will be reset annually on January 1.

Free monthly storage and free removals:No monthly storage fees for the first 50 units of each new parent ASIN for 90 days after the first unit is received at an Amazon fulfillment center. Sellers can remove any of those first 50 units within 180 days after the first inventory-received date with no FBA removal fees.

Free returns processing for five product categories:For Apparel; Shoes, Handbags & Accessories; Jewelry; Luggage; and Watches, Amazon will waive return processing fees for up to 50 units of each parent ASIN. Returned items must be received at a fulfillment center within 120 days of the first inventory-received date.

$100 inbound transportation charge discount (new FBA sellers only):For eligible sellers who are new to FBA and who enroll in the FBA New Selection program, we will waive the first $100 in inbound transportation charges through theAmazon Partnered Carrierprogram. ASINs do not have to be new to FBA to get this discount.

Seller eligibility

Professional sellers with no inventory storage limit, in accordance with theFBA inventory storage limits policy, will be eligible to receive program benefits.

When the program starts April 1, 2020, Amazon will review the storage limit status of sellers who have enrolled in the program to see if they meet the eligibility requirements. For sellers who enroll after April 1, Amazon will assess their eligibility at the time of enrollment.

The eligibility status of enrolled sellers will be updated on January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1 each year, based on their storage limit status. Once an enrolled seller is confirmed as eligible for the program , that seller will remain eligible until the next January 1 assessment even if their storage limit status changes before that date. However, enrolled sellers who have a storage limit as of the next January 1 assessment will be removed from the program.

Sellers who have enrolled but who are not eligible to receive program benefits because they have a storage limit will become eligible on the next quarterly assessment date if they no longer have a storage limit at that time.

Enrolled sellers must be eligible for the program on the date that their first new-to-FBA ASIN is received at the fulfillment center in order for that ASIN to qualify for the program's free monthly storage, free removals, and free return processing benefits.

Onlysmall standard and large standard-size itemsare eligible for the program.

Parent ASINs must not have been previously enrolled in FBA within the past 180 days.

ASINs in Media categories and used items are not eligible.Media categories are Books, DVDs, Music, Software & Computer/Video Games, Video, Video Game Consoles, and Video Game Accessories.

To be eligible for free returns processing, an ASIN must be in the Apparel; Shoes, Handbags & Accessories; Jewelry; Luggage; or Watches category.

Am I limited to sending 50 or fewer units to fulfillment centers?

No, you can send in as many units as you like. However, only the first 50 units of each eligible ASIN that are received at fulfillment centers will qualify for the fee waivers.

If I create more than 500 new-to-FBA parent ASINs, can I remove some from my eligible ASINs list?

No, only the first 500 new-to-FBA parent ASINs that you create will qualify for the fee waivers. Any new ASINs you create after the first 500 will not qualify. However, the 500-parent-ASIN limit will be reset on January 1 each year.

I’m a new FBA seller. If my first inbound shipment charge is less than$100, will the rest of the discount be applied to later shipments?

Yes. We will waive the first$100in Amazon Partnered Carrier inbound shipment charges for sellers new to FBA. For example, if a discount of$75is applied to your first shipment, the inbound transportation charge for your second shipment will be discounted by$25. The discount applies only to inbound shipment charges through the Amazon Partnered Carrier program.

Program terms and conditions

The following terms and conditions govern your participation in the FBA New Selection Program (the "Program").

The Program starts on April 1, 2020.

Only Professional Sellers are eligible for the Program. Your participation in the Program is subject to Amazon’s approval.

"Eligible Sellers" means: Professional Sellers who do not have storage limits based onAmazon inventory storage limits policy.

"Eligible ASIN" means one of the first 500 ASINs you create for FBA after you are enrolled in the Program that is:

New to FBA;

A parent ASIN not previously enrolled in FBA within the past 180 days;

Not a Media or used item;

Small standard or large standard size; and

Received at an Amazon fulfillment center after the Program start date April 1, 2020.

To be eligible for free returns processing, an ASIN must be in the Apparel (Clothing & Accessories); Jewelry; Luggage; Shoes, Handbags & Accessories; or Watches category and meet the Eligible ASIN criteria specified above.

The Eligible ASIN limit (500 parent ASINs) will be reset January 1 each year.

Eligible ASINs exclude:

New child ASINscreated under a parent ASIN that already exists on FBA;

New ASINs created by "bundling" the same or different existing FBA ASINs;

Oversize products; and

Media and used items.

Seller must be enrolled in the Program before an ASIN’s first inventory-received date at an Amazon fulfillment center for the ASIN to qualify for monthly storage, removal, and return processing fee waivers.

To be eligible for the discount on the inbound shipment charge, sellers must:

Be new to FBA (have not sent inventory to FBA in the past);

Send their first shipment to a fulfillment center after April 1, 2020;

Be enrolled in the FBA New Selection program before sending their first shipment to a fulfillment center; and

Use an Amazon Partnered Carrier to send their shipment to a fulfillment center.

For each Eligible ASIN, FBA will waive monthly storage fees for the first 50 units received at Amazon fulfillment center, for up to 90 days after the first inventory-received date. Sellers can remove of any of those first 50 units within 180 days after the first inventory-received date, with no FBA removal fees.

For Apparel (Clothing & Accessories); Jewelry; Luggage; Shoes, Handbags & Accessories; and Watches only,FBA will waive return processing fees for up to 50 units of each eligible parent ASIN. Returned items must be received at a fulfillment center within 120 days of the first inventory-received date.

A parent ASIN and variations of it (child ASINs) are considered one ASIN for determining the first 50 units of each eligible ASIN.

Amazon may change or cancel the Program at any time by giving you 30 days' prior written notice.

Participation in the Fulfillment by Amazon Program is subject to the FBA Service Terms and policies in the BSA. These Terms will terminate automatically upon any termination of the BSA or the FBA Service Terms.
